Welcome to United Bookings ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our website, phone booking services, route consultations, or ticket assistance services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Independent Agency & Disclaimer of Affiliation

  • United Bookings is an independent travel assistance agency.

  • We provide phone booking services, route consultations, and general ticket assistance for passenger rail travel across the United States.

  • We are not directly affiliated with, endorsed by, authorized by, or operated by Amtrak (National Railroad Passenger Corporation) or any federal, state, or regional government transit authority.

  • All third-party trademarks, service marks, logos, and brand names (including "Amtrak") are the property of their respective owners. Reference to any third-party names or trademarks is strictly for descriptive purposes to identify rail services and does not imply endorsement, affiliation, or partnership.

2. Services Provided

United Bookings assists customers by providing:

  • Passenger rail route and itinerary consultation.

  • Phone-based assistance in purchasing rail tickets on behalf of the customer.

  • Travel modification, cancellation, and customer support assistance.

Service fees charged by United Bookings are for our independent consultation, routing, and booking agency services and are separate from the actual cost of passenger rail tickets set by rail operators.

3. Fares, Payments, and Fees

  • Ticket Prices: Ticket prices and availability are determined by the respective rail carriers and are subject to change without notice until ticketing is completed.

  • Agency Service Fees: United Bookings charges a non-refundable service/consultation fee for booking and customer support services. All applicable service fees will be disclosed to you prior to final transaction confirmation.

  • Payment Authorization: By providing your payment information over the phone or through our platform, you authorize United Bookings to charge your card for the total agreed-upon amount (including carrier ticket price plus applicable agency service fees).

4. Cancellations, Exchanges, and Refunds

  • Cancellations, exchanges, and ticket refunds are strictly governed by the rules, policies, and fare conditions of the applicable rail carrier (e.g., Amtrak).

  • United Bookings agency service fees are strictly non-refundable, regardless of whether a rail ticket is later canceled, changed, or refunded by the rail carrier.

  • If you request a ticket cancellation or modification, additional carrier change fees or agency processing fees may apply.

5. Limitation of Liability

  • United Bookings acts solely as an independent booking agent and consultant. We do not own, control, or operate passenger rail services, trains, stations, or rail infrastructure.

  • We are not responsible or liable for train delays, schedule changes, service cancellations, missed connections, lost luggage, personal injuries, property damage, or acts of God caused by third-party rail operators or external circumstances.

  • In no event shall United Bookings’ total liability exceed the total agency service fees paid by you for the specific booking in question.

6. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
